John Lehndorff was born a doctor's son in central Massachusetts in the middle 1950s and has been eating ever since. He is a graduate of Cushing Academy and received a B.A. in Communications/English from McGill University in Montreal. For 15 years until May 1999, he was food editor, writer and nationally published weekly food columnist for the Daily Camera in Boulder. He has also hosted a weekly food radio program on KGNU, 88.5 FM. He is a founding member and former executive director of the America Pie Council, the only organization devoted to America's dessert. He is married, lives in Boulder and has a son.
