MSU Billings women's soccer signs 4

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Montana State-Billings women's soccer coach Don Trentham has announced the signing of four out-of-state recruits.

Defender Kristin Kastelic and midfielder Jennifer Larsen of Arizona have signed with the Yellowjackets along with midfielder/defenders Janae Remsberg and Jennifer Brookshire of California.

Kastelic attends Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, where she helped lead the team to two runner-up finishes at the state tournament.

Larsen attends Mountain View High in Mesa, Ariz., and helped her team to a regional championship. She had 53 goals and 53 assists in her career and was named the co-region player of the year as a senior.

Kastelic and Larsen also play club soccer for Mesa United '91, the top team in Arizona.

Remsberg, of Vista High School in Vista, Calif., joins older sister Amy Remsberg as a member of the MSU-Billings soccer team. She had 10 goals and 10 assists as a senior at Vista High.

Brookshire, of Ventura, Calif., was a four-year varsity player in high school, earning all-county honors in 2008.
