JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Backup linebacker and special teams standout Brian Iwuh signed a contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday.
Iwuh, a restricted free agent, has played in 43 games since joining the club as a undrafted rookie free agent in 2006. Iwuh has 26 tackles and 44 special teams tackles in three seasons. He could vie for a starting spot this fall with the expected departure of free agent linebacker Mike Peterson.
Details of Iwuh's extension were not available.
