The Mustang is wild-eyed, raring back, veins bulging, dangerous and free, a perfect emblem for the West, at least as it used to be. Perhaps we have too many imports from New York now and high-end housing developments to remember a time when these animals ranged across the land unfettered, and it took a equally tough, smart, fast cowboy to catch and break one in. Pegasus, Mike Rosen? Pegasus? Are you kidding me? How about a unicorn? How about My Pretty Pony? How about those sexless, faceless white aliens dancing on the lawn of the DCPA? Jeesh!
