FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — It's not just about Dallas or Fort Worth when it comes to the 2011 Super Bowl in North Texas.

Organizers of the Feb. 6, 2011, game at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington on Thursday announced they're pushing a regional concept.

Officials say activities will begin in March 2010 and will be spread throughout the area.

The NFC champion team will stay in Dallas. The AFC champs will be housed about 35 miles away, in Fort Worth.

The new $1.2 billion Cowboys stadium, which opens this year, is midway between the two cities.

Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief on Thursday was presented with an AFC Jersey with No. 11, in anticipation of the 2011 game.

A representative of Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert received an NFC jersey, also with No. 11.
