The Metro State men's basketball team (22-3) rose three spots to No. 15 in the NCAA Division II poll conducted by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Findlay University (24-0) of Ohio was ranked first.

* The Fort Lewis women's basketball team (23-1) fell two spots to No. 4 in the Division II poll conducted by USA Today and ESPN, despite receiving two first-place votes.

Minnesota State (24-1), Northern Kentucky (23-2) and California, Pa., (22-3) took the first three spots.
