— Emma Langford came off the bench to score 17 points and grab six rebounds in leading Wyoming to a 71-62 win over Colorado State on Wednesday night.

Hillary Carlson added 16 points, while Randi Richardson and Kristen Scheffler finished with 12 apiece for the Cowgirls (14-12, 6-7 Mountain West), who overcame a slow start to post their third win in their past four games.

Wyoming missed nine of its first 10 shots from the field before going on a 11-0 run, highlighted by three straight three-pointers — two by Jade Kennedy and the other by Richardson. The Cowgirls led 35-22 at halftime.

They took a 16-point lead early in the second half before CSU (9-18, 4-10) narrowed the margin to 61-56 on a three-pointer by Meghan Mestdagh with 1:17 left. The Cowgirls answered by hitting 8-of-8 from the free throw line in the final minute.

Bonnie Barbee came of the bench to lead the Rams with 11 points, and Carine Reimink finished with 10.
