What is The Tasty Weasel?
Published February 18, 2009 at 3:43 p.m.
It's not something you'd see on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, a variety of skimpy bathing suit or your doofus buddy's self-given nickname.
It's the new tasting room at the Oskar Blues brewing and canning facility in Longmont.
If fresh beer is your thing, and we simply can't imagine that it isn't, The Tasty Weasel will become your new favorite spot. It offers seating for 50 as well as brewed-on-site drafts of Oskar beers, game boards, an open-air atmosphere and fine views of the fermentation tanks.
Even better, the folks in charge plan to crack a fresh firkin (read: quarter barrel of beer) of Oskar's hoppy bounty at 4 p.m. every Friday. So we recommend logging out of your workstation a tad earlier today.
The Tasty Weasel is at 1800 Pike Road, Longmont. Hours are 3-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
