Trinidad picks 8 Britain-based players for squad

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) — Trinidad has chosen eight players based in Britain for next week's CONCACAF World Cup qualifier against El Salvador.
The group includes captain Dwight Yorke and his Sunderland teammates Carlos Edwards and Kenwyne Jones, coach Francisco Maturana announced.
The other Britain-based players are Walsall goalkeeper Clayton Ince, Brighton midfielder Chris Birchall, Crewe defender Dennis Lawrence, Bristol City striker Stern John and Wrexham's Silvio Spann.
The match will be played next Wednesday at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador.
