Weld County sheriff's deputies were still searching for an attempted murder suspect late Sunday night after a SWAT team tried to capture him at a former residence.

Nick Label, 23, is wanted in a Dec. 6 shooting that may have been drug-related, said Undersheriff Margie Martinez.

Deputies got a call just before 6:15 p.m. Sunday that Label was at a home in the 4200 block of Brantner Road, but he may have fled in the two to three minutes before police arrived, Martinez said.

The sheriff's department believes Label is the same person who crashed a car and fled from deputies as they were trying to make a traffic stop Saturday night.
