Five people, including four members of the Chadron State College wrestling team, were injured Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 25.
The five, whose identities were not released Wednesday, were taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
The injuries ranged from minor to serious, according to Trooper Gilbert Mares, of the State Patrol.
The accident, on I-25 three miles south of the Wyoming-Colorado state line, was reported at 5:38 p.m. A 2003 white Ford Excursion was involved.
The cause of the crash was still being investigated. Weather was a factor in other crashes in the area, but Mares said it was not known if that was the case in this crash.
According to the Chadron State College Web site, the college's wrestling team was traveling in two SUVs to Denver International Airport, where it was planning to catch a flight to Las Vegas for a meet.
