Obama's fidelity, principles unmatched

Published August 28, 2008 at 12:05 a.m.

Barack Obama addresses any and all people, even hecklers (as he did in Florida recently), regardless of race, religion or position; he demonstrates impeccable posture, literally and metaphorically; and he offers a fresh set of perspectives, raw wisdom, true democratic outlooks and leadership traits that are desperately needed in a time of severe economic strain, oppressive foreign policy and deplorable, constitutionally unsound acts within office.

It doesn't matter (in this case) what his policies are or which religious text he swears himself into office on.

A man with that spiritual physique and presence deserves any well-thought-out vote. One who has principle, unmatched fidelity and doesn't follow your visions is far superior to a double-talking political wimp who does.

John McCain falls under the latter category, and no history as a POW can change that. The future is bleak with McCain as president, with the destruction of all phases of society and the violation of our Founding Fathers' doctrines sure to continue. But Obama gives America and the world a spark of hope just by the very discipline and manner he exercises.
