Our country is facing the most important presidential election of my lifetime. I was born in 1948. There are many extremely important issues and choices facing the American voters. Ending the war in Iraq, restoring American credibility in the world community, health care for all Americans, the mortgage crisis, recession and inflation, immigration, the appointment of possibly three supreme court justices, and sources of renewable energy are all on the table. At the same time, the choices between the progressive and conservative positions on these topics and many others have never been so clear. There is an opportunity to set this country in a new direction.

Remember 80 % of Americans have said that the country is headed in the wrong direction. Yet, I continue to read/hear that approximately 25% of Clinton supporters are planning to either stay at home and not vote or vote for McCain. If you are truly democrats and believe in progressive principles and still chose to stay home or vote for a Republican presidential candidate because you are angry about the outcome of the democratic primary, I suggest that on the morning of November 5th, you take a long look in the mirror. You will see the south end of a north bound horse, a sore loser, and an IDIOT.

BTW- my first choice was not Obama, but I will definitely be voting democratic!! Get over it!
