The Colorado Avalanche will begin its training camp Sept. 19, when veterans report for medical and physical tests.
The team will be on the ice at the South Suburban Family Sports Center in Centennial for four days beginning Sept. 20.
Practices and scrimmages are scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 20-21 and Sept. 23. They are open to the public. The annual Burgundy-White Game will be played at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Air Force Academy.
Before the veterans report, the Avalanche will conduct a four-day rookie camp Sept. 14-17 at the Family Sports Center. The camp also is free and open to the public from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., though times are subject to change.
