Lakewood police identified a man shot about 3 a.m. yesterday at a party in the 1600 block of Fenton Street as Paul Martinez, 21.

Police spokesman Steve Davis reported that officers were called to an apartment complex on reports of gunshots in the area.

They found Martinez in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains.

A warrant has been issued for Venus Cameron, 24, on suspicion of criminal attempted first-degree murder.
