Two Adams City High School students were hit by a pickup today while trying to run across the street in the 6200 block of East 72nd Avenue.

Commerce City police officer Lanissa A. Blevens reported the boy and girl, both 15, exited an RTD bus and tried to run across the street when they were hit by a pickup driven by a 55-year-old man.

The driver's name was not released. He was not at fault, police said.

The conditions of the students isn't known, but Blevens said it isn't believed their injuries are life threatening.
