CLASS 3A TOP 10
Eaton: Led by 6-foot-6 junior Seth Lobato, the defending champ is loaded for a run at a repeat.
Colorado Springs Christian: The Lions have two good big men and a lot of experience. This could be their year.
Faith Christian: After being upset in the semifinals last season, the Eagles are eager for another shot.
Aspen: Paced by player-of-the-year candidate Cory Parker, the Skiers are a threat to win it all.
Yuma: Justin Coughlin, a 6-8 senior, should be the center of attention for the Indians.
Roaring Fork: The Rams always are a factor at state, and this year should be no different.
Colorado Academy: The Mustangs should be a team on the rise in the ever-tough Metro League.
Peyton: With four returning starters, the Panthers should make a major move up.
Denver Lutheran: Big Trevor Williams will have the Lights looking for a top finish in the Metro League.
Pagosa Springs: The Pirates are extremely young, but the talent is there for another postseason run.
* Consensus league picks: Sheridan (Frontier), Pagosa Springs (Intermountain), Faith Christian (Metro), Eaton (Patriot-East), Estes Park (Patriot-West), Rye (Tri-Peaks-East), Colorado Springs Christian (Tri-Peaks-West), Aspen (Western Slope).
