GETTING OUT THE YOUTH VOTE
Republican Matt Knoedler's biggest supporter is his 8-month-old daughter, Ciara. Knoedler, a Lakewood Republican, is running against Democrat Betty Boyd in Senate District 21 in Lakewood.
As for his daughter's T-shirt, Knoedler laments, "At this rate, she'll outgrow it before the election."
GENERATION NEXT
20: Number of college interns Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Ritter has working on his campaign. They toil at campaign headquarters under a sign that reads, "Miscreants of the nerve center."
LIFE ON THE FUNNY FARM
"I've got a problem with Bill Ritter's campaign literature. He's next to a John Deere tractor. As a legislator who sells red farm equipment, that's hard to accept."
Rep. Cory Gardner R-Yuma, taking a light-hearted jab at Ritter. Gardner's family, in the farm implement business since 1915, sells red Case equipment.
